Your wedding is a big event in your life, so the ceremony should be just as important. Sr. Festivus will help you make that happen by giving you personalised care and unique ceremony offerings. As an ordained Metaphysical Minister, Sr. Festivus has been providing meaningful ceremonies (as her Muggle-self) since the mid-1990s. When Canada adopted gender-neutral marriage in 2005 this celebrant began reaching out to the 2SLGBTQAI+ community.
As her inaugural public act as a marriage celebrant for the 2SLGBTQAI+ community, Sr. Festivus (a fully professed member of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence), garnered widespread recognition by officiating the marriages of six couples live on stage at the Vancouver Pride Festival in 2016. This historic occasion marked the first time a Pride festival in Canada hosted a live, on-stage wedding ceremony celebrating the 2SLGBTQAI+ community.
